The handicap system is debuting

For the first time of footgolf, there will be a winner after counting the handicap index of the players, who have registered for the World Tour ranking list.

The Hungarian organizers have made the handicap system ready for the Hungarian stage of the European Footgolf Tour held in Kisoroszi. The Traditional Footgolf Cup will be the first international tournament ever, where this kind of ranking will be used.

The players’ − who have registered for the World Tour ranking list − best results (3-5) have been counted for the handicap system. After the two days in Kisoroszi, someone will be crowned as the first ever handicap champion of a footgolf tournament in the world.

“It is only a test, how does the handicap system works in footgolf society. I hope, it fits well in footgolf also, and can build on the weekend’s experiences” − said Gábor Gelencsér, organizer of the tournament.
