Vangel defended his title
Dusan Vangel is the first player who could defend his title and also the first one, who could win the Traditional Footgolf Cup twice. The Slovak footgolfer have beaten Béla Lengyel in a thrilling playoff. Igor Simoncic won the senior, Izabella Ujvári the women and Dániel Kenéz the junior category. Slovakia was the best nation in the FIFG Regional Tour 500 tournament.
After two tiring days on a windy, hot 2 day-long tournament, Dusan Vangel (SVK) and Béla Lengyel (HUN) tied for first place (-15). It was an entertaining ending because Vangel was the leader but played +1 on the final hole, while Lengyel played par with an unimaginable kick from the bushes which meant the tie for him.
Then they played three holes in the playoff. They tied on the first two and the last hole decided finally, when Vangel was better by one kick. Gábor Renczés became third with -14.
The senior category was won by Igor Simoncic (SVK, -11) beating Attila Karakas (HUN, -10) and Marek Vittek (SVK, -9).
Izabella Ujvári (HUN, 0) won the ladies category. Lucia Cermakova (SVK, +6) followed her in second place, while Dana Bombalova (SVK, +13) became third.
The best junior was Dániel Kenéz (HUN, +9), Artúr Sipőcz (HUN, +13) grabbed the silver and Márton Félegyházi (HUN, +18) the bronze medal.
Slovakia was the best nation, Hungary became second and Slovenia the third summarizing the best four results of every nation.

The best Hungarian players in each category and the winners of the side events above won a free green fee for the practice day of the next Hungarian Footgolf Championship round in Lakitelek thanks to Nimród Footgolf Club and Hungarikum Liget.
There was a tie among the Juraj Gubáni-Marek Vittek, the Zsolt Felde-András Bodócs and the Ferenc Hinora-Gábor Renczés duos in the pair competition (-7). They had to decide the places of the podium by penalty kicks.
